3D Motion Graphics Piece

This TV Advert was created for a new start up company dealing with car finance. They commissioned a 30 Sec TV advert to be launched as soon as possible. The advert was launched in early June on major UK stations and has been a massive success.
We wanted to create a character that would give the brand some appeal. So we created a cheeky 3D Car that would be the key element in the Advert and use in their branding. To keep the turn-around time short, the storyboards were quickly developed into a digital board for sign off. Typography and legal text had to be displayed carefully to conform with TV advertising standards.
Illustrator, Animation, Motion Graphics & Editing
From initial concept development with a producer, to asset creation, rigging and animation. The key frames of the animation were created digitally to give the client a clear indication of what the advert would look like. Once this was signed off this went to a two part process of animating the 3D character and combining this with the 2D motion graphics. This all had to be to broadcast standards, formats and guidelines and then delivered to a service provider that then distributes to TV stations.
